real weddings Magazine is a Canadian publication; it is a locally-produced and -focused wedding magazine serving brides and showcasing vendors in British Columbia, Canada. We publish twice annually, in May for the Spring/Summer Issue and in October for the Fall/Winter Issue. The 2010-11 season marked our 10th year of publication. Within the pages of real weddings, you will find feature real wedding stories with a local connection, fashion, beauty, health, local shopping, travel and honeymoon, hot wedding news around town, and much more.
Published by Canada Wide Media Limited, real weddings has a per issue distribution of 15,000 through participating vendors, newsstands, wedding shows and gift registries.

Canada Wide Media Limited is the largest independently owned magazine publishing company in Western Canada. We are also the largest publisher of wedding market information in BC. In total, we serve over 500 advertisers, distribute a combined 64,000 copies annually at wedding shows, on newsstands and at wedding vendor’s locations across our region effectively servicing a wedding market of approximately 22,000 weddings annually.
In addition to real weddings, we publish two annual directory-style publications, Complete Weddings and real weddings Bridal Style. We also publish content, information, and advertisements into our real weddings website and and our related editor’s blog, have a supporting site for Complete Weddings, and both real weddings and Bridal Style have online digital editions with clickable links and resources.
Complete Weddings has been published annually since 1996. In 2001 we launched Real Weddings, and the following year we acquired 12-year-old Westcoast Bridal Guide from its original publisher. We now also publish real weddings Bridal Style, a style companion guide to real weddings.
Each of our media provides a unique blend of content and advertising opportunities. We provide low-cost pay-per-click directory links and banner opportunities as well as annual fixed cost informational ad space online and display, listings, and advertorial opportunities in our print publications.
