Fraser Valley Brides Can Say Yes to the Dress With TLC’s Monte Durham This Weekend!

We know it’s a long drive from the Fraser Valley to downtown Vancouver. But Valley brides who couldn’t make it to this past weekend’s big Wedding Fair at the Westin Bayshore have an excellent nearby alternative: the It’s My Wedding Show on January 12 and 13 at Tradex in Abbotsford.

This third annual show, put together by Western Tux, has a special treat in store with a visit by Monte Durham, star of TLC’s Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta. The celebrity fashion director will host a special meet-and-greet session at the show each day at 12:30 p.m. Several lucky brides can also get “jacked up” by Monte this weekend at the Everything But the Groom Bridal Boutique, or you can have the style guru all to yourself during private 30-minute consultations. It’s My Wedding will feature 120 exhibitors this year, featuring many located right in the Fraser Valley. Plus, you’ll enjoy a bridal fashion show and find prizes galore, including a chance to win a $75,000 Ultimate Wedding package.

The show runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day and tickets are $16 when you book ahead online, or $18 at the door. To catch Monte Durham’s presentation and meet-and-greet, tickets are $36 in advance or $40 at the door (including admission to the show).
