Sarah’s colour inspiration for her wedding came right at the ring: soon-to-be-husband Patrick proposed with a Tiffany & Co. diamond. Since Patrick’s first Christmas gift to Sarah had been a necklace, also from Tiffany & Co., the seafoam-blue box and white satin ribbon already bore special meaning in their relationship.

Sarah wanted to incorporate the colour of that iconic little blue box into their mid-August wedding, but felt that blue and white alone would be too cool for a summer soiree. To warm the palette, she added sunny citrus shades reminiscent of grapefruit, blood orange and tangerine.
