Tricia wanted their wedding to be, of course, pretty, but mostly both she and Chris just wanted the day to be relaxed and fun. “We aren’t much for the spotlight, so keeping things pretty natural and informal felt right,” Tricia says of their celebration at London Heritage Farm in Richmond. “The farm was great because we didn’t have to worry about decorating anything!”
Their DIY affair involved many of their family and friends. Guests assembled and helped set up, ceremony music was provided by the bride’s brother Ian who is a music student at UVic, bridesmaid and graphic designer Samantha Langdorf designed their stationery, and everyone enjoyed an assortment of baked goods, personally made by Tricia’s Aunt Rosie, owner of Butter Bakery in Kerrisdale.

The ladies took turns getting ready and spying from the windows of historic London Heritage Farm before the ceremony.
