sugarlime_olympicLocal jewellery line, Sugarlime, is holding a jewellery event Sunday, June 27 at the Burnaby Mountain Golf Course from 1:00 – 4:00 pm. Invite your bridesmaids for an afternoon of sipping mimosas while browsing and trying on pieces from Sugarlime’s extensive collections. The brand is a favourite of local brides who want simple, delicate and pretty pieces for the big day but also wants those pieces to be wearable day-to-day.

Consider layering a few of their single strand necklaces named after Olympic medal-winning, Canadian women athletes. Remember, it’s ok to mix metals! {Above left-right: the Christine, Maelle, and Tessa.}

There’s no admission fee but an RSVP is required.

For the month of June, $1.00 from every Sugarlime purchase will be donated to the National Wildlife Federation to help support the environment and wildlife impacted by the BP oil spill.

tiffany gardenTiffany & Co. introduces Tiffany “Garden”, a new jewellery collection that celebrates spring’s ritual of renewal and nature. Inspired by the late 19th-early 20th century diamond floral designs created by legendary jewellery designer Paulding Farnham (1859-1927), the traditional rose-cut and brilliant round cut of the Garden collection’s gemstones bring a delightful sparkle and delicate quality to the pieces, perfect for a bridesmaid to wear on your big day. Diamonds, emeralds and other coloured gemstones are set in platinum and 18K rose or yellow gold. {Shown here are the Tiffany Garden rose-cut diamond pendants in platinum: Butterfly – $3,900, Bee – $3,200, and Dragonfly – $2,900.}

The Tiffany Garden collection is available at the Tiffany & Co. Vancouver store, 723 Burrard Street or online.
